Refund Policy for Classes, Memberships, and Custom Work

Refund Policy for Classes, Memberships, and Custom Work

This policy applies to classes, workshops, memberships, subscriptions, custom fabrication, personalized products, training, private events, materials, and special orders through Geaux Cajun IT.

1. Classes and Workshops

Class cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled class time may be eligible for refund, rescheduling, or store credit.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before class may not be refundable because seats, instructor time, and materials may already be reserved.

No-shows are not eligible for refund.

2. Jewelry-Making Classes and Private Jewelry Events

Jewelry-making classes, charm bars, bracelet workshops, permanent jewelry events, private jewelry parties, and custom jewelry workshops may require advance material preparation.

Refunds may be limited once materials are prepared, custom items are ordered, or private event time is reserved.

Premium charms, chains, custom engraving, special materials, private party deposits, and add-ons may be non-refundable.

3. Memberships and Subscriptions

Monthly membership fees are generally non-refundable once billed.

Members should cancel before the next renewal date to avoid future charges.

Unused membership benefits, unused access, unused class credits, unused machine time, unused guest privileges, unused discounts, or missed attendance are not guaranteed to be refunded, credited, or rolled over.

4. Storage Add-Ons and Private Maker Bays

Storage bins, shelves, extended access, and private maker bay fees are generally non-refundable once billed.

Private maker bays may require separate deposits, agreements, cancellation terms, and move-out requirements.

Deposits may be used for unpaid fees, cleaning, damage, lost access devices, or abandoned property.

5. Custom Work

Custom fabrication, engraving, printing, apparel, signage, promotional products, prototypes, personalized products, special-order items, and made-to-order goods may not be refundable once:

  • Design work begins
  • File preparation begins
  • Materials are ordered
  • Setup begins
  • Production begins
  • Proofs are approved
  • Custom items are produced

6. Customer Approval

Customers are responsible for reviewing spelling, names, dates, logos, artwork, colors, dimensions, quantities, materials, and proofs before approval.

Approved custom work may not be refunded due to customer-approved errors.

7. Customer-Supplied Materials

Customer-supplied materials are used at the customer’s risk.

Geaux Cajun IT is not responsible for failed cuts, failed engraving, failed printing, burning, melting, cracking, warping, discoloration, adhesive failure, or damage to customer-supplied materials.

Refunds are not guaranteed for projects using customer-supplied materials.

8. Materials and Supplies

Material and supply returns may be limited to unopened, unused, resaleable items within the posted return window.

Special-order materials, opened materials, cut materials, used materials, clearance items, and custom-prepared materials may not be refundable.

9. Equipment, Parts, and Special Orders

Equipment, parts, accessories, machines, and special-order items may be subject to manufacturer policies, restocking fees, shipping fees, warranty terms, or non-refundable order terms.

Deposits or payments for special-order equipment may not be refundable once the order is placed.

10. Store Credit

Geaux Cajun IT may offer store credit instead of a refund at its discretion.

Store credit may be used for future classes, materials, services, memberships, or eligible purchases.

11. Geaux Cajun IT Cancellations

If Geaux Cajun IT cancels a class, workshop, training session, or service and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, customers may be offered a refund, store credit, or rescheduling.

12. Refund Method

Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method when possible.

Processing times may vary depending on Shopify, payment processors, banks, and card providers.

13. Right to Refuse Refund

Geaux Cajun IT may refuse refunds for policy violations, no-shows, misuse, late cancellations, customer-approved errors, used materials, completed custom work, special orders, or services already provided.
