Membership Policy
Membership Cancellation Policy
Geaux Cajun IT offers recurring maker space memberships, business memberships, storage add-ons, extended access options, and other subscription-based services.
This policy explains how membership billing, cancellation, pauses, and changes work.
1. Monthly Membership Billing
Memberships are billed monthly through the payment method used at checkout or through the subscription customer portal.
Membership fees are charged automatically unless the membership is canceled according to this policy.
2. Subscription Management
Customers may manage eligible subscriptions through the customer portal when available. This may include updating payment methods, viewing billing history, canceling, pausing, or making changes depending on the membership type and available settings.
3. Cancellation Notice
To avoid the next billing charge, members should cancel before the next renewal date.
Once a renewal payment has processed, membership fees are generally non-refundable for that billing period.
4. Access After Cancellation
If a membership is canceled, access may continue through the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise stated or unless access is revoked due to policy violation, safety issue, non-payment, misuse, or misconduct.
5. No Partial Month Refunds
Geaux Cajun IT does not guarantee prorated refunds for unused days, unused classes, unused benefits, unused machine time, unused storage, or missed access during a paid membership period.
6. Membership Changes
Members may request to upgrade, downgrade, or change membership levels. Changes may take effect immediately or at the next billing cycle depending on the subscription settings and membership type.
7. Included Benefits
Some memberships may include class credits, discounts, storage, guest privileges, priority booking, or other benefits. Unused benefits may not roll over unless specifically stated.
8. Storage Add-Ons
Storage bins, shelves, private storage, and related add-ons are billed monthly. If a storage subscription is canceled or payment fails, the member must remove personal items by the deadline given by Geaux Cajun IT.
Items left after the deadline may be moved, stored at the owner’s risk, subject to fees, or handled according to the private storage or abandoned property policy.
9. Private Maker Bays
Private maker bays may require a separate agreement and may have different cancellation terms, deposits, access rules, and move-out requirements. The private bay agreement controls when it conflicts with this general membership policy.
10. Failed Payments
If a payment fails, access may be paused or suspended until the account is current. Repeated failed payments may result in cancellation.
11. Policy Violations
Geaux Cajun IT may suspend or cancel membership without refund if a member violates safety rules, damages property, misuses equipment, harasses others, fails to pay, uses unauthorized materials, violates commercial-use rules, or creates risk to the business or community.
12. Policy Updates
Geaux Cajun IT may update membership terms, pricing, benefits, and policies. Members will be notified when required or when major changes affect active subscriptions.
