Fabrication Quote Policy
Fabrication Quote Policy
Geaux Cajun IT provides fabrication, laser cutting, engraving, CNC routing, plasma cutting, apparel production, printing, prototyping, custom products, signage, and production support.
This policy explains how quote requests, approvals, deposits, timelines, and custom work are handled.
1. Quotes Are Estimates
Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of request. Final pricing may change if project scope, materials, artwork, quantity, deadline, machine time, file preparation, revisions, finishing, packaging, delivery, or complexity changes.
2. Required Information
To provide an accurate quote, Geaux Cajun IT may need:
- Project description
- File or artwork
- Dimensions
- Material type and thickness
- Quantity
- Deadline
- Finish requirements
- Budget range
- Intended use
- Delivery or pickup preference
Incomplete information may delay quoting.
3. Artwork and File Preparation
Customer files may require review, cleanup, formatting, vector conversion, sizing, layout, or testing.
Design time, file repair, redraws, conversions, and setup may be billed separately.
4. Deposits
Custom orders may require a deposit or full payment before work begins.
Deposits may be non-refundable once materials are ordered, design work begins, files are prepared, or production is scheduled.
5. Approval
Customers are responsible for reviewing proofs, spelling, names, dates, dimensions, artwork, quantities, materials, and details before approval.
Once approved, changes may require additional fees or may not be possible.
6. Timelines
Estimated timelines are not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing. Rush work may be available for an additional fee.
Delays may occur due to material availability, machine maintenance, file issues, customer approval delays, vendor delays, power outages, staffing, or other operational factors.
7. Customer-Supplied Materials
Geaux Cajun IT may accept customer-supplied materials at its discretion. Customer-supplied materials are used at the customer’s risk.
Geaux Cajun IT is not responsible for failed cuts, failed engraving, print failure, burning, warping, cracking, melting, discoloration, or damage to customer-supplied materials.
8. Cancellations
Custom orders may not be refundable once materials are ordered, files are prepared, setup begins, or production starts.
9. Pickup and Storage
Completed orders should be picked up by the agreed date. Orders left for an extended time may be subject to storage fees or disposal after notice.
10. Refusal of Work
Geaux Cajun IT may refuse projects involving unsafe materials, illegal content, hateful content, infringing designs, prohibited items, unrealistic deadlines, unsuitable files, excessive risk, or work outside our capabilities.
